La Habra, I am on the move! You may have already seen me at your door, and I’m just getting started. I’m asking folks to call my personal cell with any complaint, suggestion or question. It’s my job to engage and respond, face-to-face, by walking and talking with every La Habran. If you haven’t seen me yet, you will.
La Habra elected me to City Council on November 8th, 2022 by a large margin. I was honored to be appointed Mayor Pro-Tem on December 19th, 2022 and on December 18th of 2023, I had the great privilege to be appointed Mayor of La Habra. This is my campaign website which reflects on our 2022 victory, and now focuses on the majority of La Habrans who will be asked to continue their support as we lead-up to the November Election in 2024.
The decisive victory on Election Day 2022 was also a rejection of the “hidden agenda” of former candidates Sue Pritchard and Guadalupe Lara, who were funded by developers, special-interest PACs and directed by disgruntled former Councilman Tim Shaw. La Habrans saw-through false attack mail then, and will “follow the money” this year. The fact is that “Shadow” PACs will lie about our community and its future. Myself and Mayor Pro-Tem Espinoza, Councilmembers Jose Medrano, Jim Gomez and Steve Simonian have kept our city in great shape and are working hard to keep it that way.
As your Mayor, I’ll say that these same activists who support large-scale building and massive budget cuts are still pushing their agenda. They will be back for more in 2024. But this City Council stands in their way.
La Habra is unique in the region for good roads, excellent public safety and wonderful events and community services. Your City Council strongly supports our local businesses and fantastic non-profits. I am asking La Habrans for their support as I make it my mission as Mayor to focus on these things that matter— our quality of life in our Caring Community.
Thank you, La Habra. ❤️
